Da Maurizio features traditional Italian cuisine which is located at the north end of Patong Beach, has all the makings of a "dining must". On the beach, with rock formations adjacent and palms rustling overhead, the sea laps up to within a few meters of one's table.

Maurizio spent time selecting some of the most famous dishes from all over Italy and putting them together on the menu. The food is every bit as good as Maurizio will have you believe.

The decor at Da Maurizio is the first thing that strikes the arriving diner. Warm wood panelling and furniture accented by art deco oil paintings and antique photographs of Maurizio's family set an ambience that is both classy and intimate. One wall of the dining room opens onto a terrace where diners may eat al fresco under the stars just metres from the surf. On clear days at lunch-time, Maurizio even places tables on the sand.
