 Sensations : Mekong Quest-4 Days / 3 Nights

Day 1: HO CHI MINH

Begin the exploration of the fallen capital of Vietnam, where its tasteful blend of ancient traditions and warm hospitality never cease to delight. Saigon has blossomed into one of Asia’s hotspots, and offers a glimpse into multicultural influences highlighted by its stunning architecture at both the Notre Dame Cathedral, as well as its infamous Central Post Office. Afterward a stop in the city’s Cho Lon district, (aka Chinatown) one of the oldest, and most mysterious parts of the city. Cho Lon literally means ‘big market’ and the vast Binh Tay Market lives up to that reputation. While the aisles are narrow with locals scurrying about in the narrow passages to talk or eat, the variety of goods here astound giving an uncanny glimpses into modern Vietnamese life.

Day 2: HO CHI MINH - CU CHI - TAY NINH - HO CHI MINH

After breakfast adventure outside Ho Chi Minh City to the infamous grounds of Cu Chi, where an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence hearken to the persistent and clever character of the Vietnamese nation while offering eyes to a new industry of war tourism. Following this morning’s activity, head next to Tay Ninh where the Cao Dai Great Temple awaits. Cao Dai is an attempt to create a perfect synthesis of world religions establishing itself in the Southern regions of Vietnam in the early 1920’s. Explore Vietnamese cuisine during lunch in Tay Ninh, followed by return to hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.
