The Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai is a world of its own. Located in the beautiful Mae Rim Valley, just 20 minutes north of the city of Chiang Mai, the resort is set in 20 acres of extensively landscaped gardens and terraces which feature two small lakes, lily ponds and terraced rice paddies.

The Four Seasons Resort pays tribute to Chiang Mai’s artistic and cultural heritage. Close to orchid and butterfly farms, hill tribe villages, elephant trekking, an interesting and eclectic collection of shops and excellent golf courses, our guests will enjoy many new experiences, including world-class spa facilities.

The resort reflect the style of the “Lanna” Kingdom, which is a historically significant period of Thai history when, in 1296, king Mengrai established his kingdom in this northern part of Thailand. the Lanna style design is a blend of the cultures of India, China and other nations of the region which were powerful at that time.

Clustered in Lanna-style pavilions are 64 Pavilion Suites and 8 magnificent two and three-bedroom Residence Suites with 750-4,500 square feet (70-550 square meters) of luxurious living space.

Each suite has polished teak wood floors, rich Thai cottons and beautiful Siamese art under vaulted ceilings and a private Thai “Sala” (covered verandah), overlook gardens, terraced rice paddies and mountain views.

Sala Mae Rim : the resort’s Thai restaurant features the finest in Thai cuisine including both northern and vegetarian specialties. Indoor and outdoor seating is available to take in the sweeping view of the Mae Rim Valley and gentle northern breezes. Breakfast, lunch and dinner menus offer both Thai and Western dining choices. With its high gabled ceiling and exposed beams, rich tapestries, crafted teak appointments and cane-backed colonial dining settings, the room exudes a sophisticated but rustic atmosphere. Elephant Bar : a casually elegant open pavilion style lounge, serving afternoon tea, cocktails and after-dinner drinks. The perfect place to relax after an active day of sightseeing and elephant trekking. The Elephant Bar offers unrivalled views across the Mae Rim Valley towards a brilliant Thai sunset. The Elephant Bar’s seating includes a featured bar area with luxurious lounge chairs scattered around hand-crafted teak tables. Capacity : 31

Pool Terrace and Bar
Pool-side dining for lunch and dinner in addition to a weekly seasonal barbecue dinner. The menu features casual light snacks and a variety of light Thai-style dishes are also available. Open daily for lunch and dinner, the menu is especially designed for the Pool Terrace with cuisine that is light, easy and fun to eat.

It includes a choice of salads and sandwiches as well as assorted pasta, pizza and lighter Thai-style dishes, with the dinner menu featuring additional pastas and main course selections. The Pool Terrace and Bar offers the opportunity for a romantic dinner under the starry skies of Chiang Mai, with a choice of open or covered dining. Capacity : 56
