The Sala Rim Naam : on the opposite bank of the Chao Praya River from The Oriental, a richly decorated traditional Thai pavilion sets the stage for an appreciation of two of the Kingdom's most rewarding cultural experiences, Thai cuisine and classical Thai dance. Lavish Thai luncheon buffets and set-dinner feasts are served daily, while dance performances are staged nightly at 8.30 p.m. Capacity : 250

The Normandie : Asia's renowned French restaurant, where the highest rated master chefs from France regularly presents their distinguished culinary art, is a favorite of connoisseurs, noted equally for its splendid cuisine, impeccable service and superb river views. Capacity : 80

Lord Jim’s : named after the memorable seafaring character in the classic novel by Joseph Conrad (a frequent guest of The Oriental in its early days), Lord Jim's enjoys a worldwide reputation for its magnificent seafood specialties. Buffet lunch and a la carte dinner are presented daily, with live music in the evenings. Capacity : 140

The China House : located in a lovingly restored and splendidly decorated colonial-style residence adjacent to the hotel's main entrance, The China House offers classic Cantonese cuisine and other China regional food prepared by leading chefs from Hong Kong. Lunch, including dim sum specialities, and dinner are served daily in both the main restaurant and in six private dining rooms. Capacity : 135

The Verandah : featuring a menu of Continental and Asian fare, this is a casually elegant all-day venue with open-air and indoor settings for breakfast, lunch, dinner, light refreshments or late evening snacks. A relaxed ambience is enhanced by fine river views. Capacity : 140 inside, 80 outside

The Riverside Terrace : on the banks of the River of Kings, you will find no spot in the city more tranquil for breakfast, lunch afternoon snacks, drinks at sunset or our daily barbecue. It is a place to relax as long tail boats, rice barges and countless other images of traditional Thai riverside life pass by. Capacity : 400

The Bamboo Bar : a long famous Bangkok rendez-vous, The Bamboo Bar is renowned for its live jazz and the ambience of its wild yet sophisticated jungle décor. Capacity 70

Ciao : for fine Italian fare, including the tastiest pizzas made in our own rare wooden pizza oven, the freshed salads and the sweetest ice creams, join us at the alfresco Ciao restaurant. Dine under the stars on the riverside marble terrace nestled beside the lush tropical gardens of the Authors' Lounge. Capacity : 50

Authors’ Lounge : with the fresh white walls, handcrafted furniture, luxuriant tropical plants and photographs of old Bangkok adorning the walls, the Author's Lounge conjures the charming ambience of bygone days.
