This adventure tour contains 3 activities:

Elephant trekking
Upon arrival by 4WD at the Safari camp, the
group can meet the elephants and feed them fruit. They can then learn about the
elephant conservation project and trek on an elephant for approximately 30
minutes on a cool shady trail. There is also an opportunity to learn how monkeys
are trained to pick coconuts, and to see the water buffaloes lazing in the
afternoon sun.

Nature Canoes
After elephant trekking, the group will
travel ten minutes by 4WD to a small pier and take a long tail boat ride along
the mangrove-lined river until they reach the sea at low tide in Chalong Bay.
The group will then hop in a canoe and row back to the pier while enjoying the
magnificent scenery on the way. After the canoe trip a pirate attack will be
staged as a surprise element in the tour. Canoe experience isn’t necessary.

4WD Safari
After canoeing, the group will travel by 4WD
for around 15 minutes up a mountain to appreciate the view of the many rubber
plantations, a common sight in the south, as rubber is the main crop. On the way
the group will stop at a hut where a Thai cook will demonstrate how to make
“curry “, a famous dish in the south. Visitors can also witness how the rubber
trees are cut to produce natural rubber latex. Finally they will visit the
Chalong Highlands to observe the beautiful panoramic view over Chalong Bay.
