Taking still pictures is permitted in most places, except in restricted sections of the National Museum. While permission must be obtained from the proper authorities to shoot video movies in the Shrine of the Emerald Buddha at the Grand Palace. You can develop 4x6 inch postcard prints or larger from digital cameras and negative films at any photo store throughout Thailand within one hour.
