 Explorations : Vietnam Escapade-5 Days / 4 Nights

 
     
Day 1: HANOI

This trip commences with arrival to Hanoi, and a transfer to the hotel. We will have a stroll through some key areas of this fabulous city, seeing the Temple of Literature, St. Joseph’s Cathedral and the Historic Opera House. Once at the old quarter, we will sit on a cyclo for a pleasant ride through the heart of Hanoi. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 2: HANOI - HOI AN

After breakfast, we address the history of Vietnam through the essence of its former leader and referent, Ho Chi Minh. During this morning, we will be able to see the house where he lived much of the international struggle the country suffered, and its present location, the Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, a true experience where today, families show the respect to the iconic figure (closed on Monday and Friday. no access in Oct-Nov), but also the One Pillar and Tran Quoc pagodas. After the visit, we can refresh and recharge with tasty local cuisine in a local restaurant before jetting to Danang on the way to Seaside Hoi An.

Day 3: HOI AN - MY SON - HOI AN

Dawn breaks and after early breakfast, an ancient civilization unfolds. The UNESCO World Heritage site, My Son, heralds civilizations lost, where remnants of The Champa dynasty date back as early as the 4th Century. After lunch return to Hoi An for a brisk walk that journeys back in time to perfumed ports, where forgotten relics of trade and export lean to shop-houses that dot this historic quarter which served as a hub of commerce and trade some 200 years earlier.

Day 4: HOI AN - SAIGON

After breakfast and transfer to Danang, lift off to ‘Saigon’ where Asia’s newest hotspot boasts a reputation as the ‘Paris of the East’. Take in the charm of the city’s most picturesque municipalities, including the famed Opera House, Notre Dame Cathedral, and Central Post Office. After lunch and a quick stop at the Vietnam War Museum, the bustle of this fallen capital is highlighted by visiting Binh Tay market and Thien Hau Pagoda. Return to rest overnight at hotel.

Day 5: SAIGON - DEPARTURE

After breakfast, and a relaxed morning, the final lift off waits, after transfer to airport for international flight.
